Bath

Bath was founded upon natural hot springs with the steaming water playing a key role throughout its history. Lying in the heart of the city the Roman Baths were constructed around 70 AD as a grand bathing and socialising complex. It is now one of the best preserved Roman remains in the world.

You can't leave this place without visiting the Roman Baths. The museum provides children with adapted audioguides and booklets to make the most out of the experience. Also you can find activities online to do before or after visiting.

Here and here you can find a selection of books to work on the Romans topic.

Oxford

If you are ever talking children to Oxford and they don´t seem interested just tell them two magic words: Harry Potter. You can take them to numerous locations including the Dinning hall. If you are a huge fan I reccommend watching fro clips from the films and recreate them in yor visit. Then put them side by side and make a nice album from he visit. Check out this video here for inspiration.

If they are not Harry Potter fans (I can´t understand how you allowed that to happen...) you can bribe them with the most amazing cookies they will ever taste from Ben Cookies.

London

There are endles things to do and see in London. Most children recognise the main monuments in the city. Some might not know the nams but they can definately tell when a picture has been taken in a London attraction. I bout a book called A Walk n London a few years ago.

I think it is a lovely book to read and plan a visit to London. The mom and daughter in the book discover the main monuments and attractions but they also discover food, interesting facts and much more.

If you want to use this book in the classroom I think it would be perfect for studying the characteristics of city and situating things in a map. It is a lovely book that I'm sure will inspire you in your lessons.

Educational visits

Cultural visits will allow us to enjoy a wider and more diverse range of experiences during our stay in Britain.
